Angelina Jolie's New Film Couture Coming to UK Screens

Signature Entertainment has secured the rights to show Angelina Jolie's new movie "Couture" in the UK and Ireland. This film, directed by Alice Winocour, will have its UK premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival on February 26th. The story follows three women whose lives cross paths during Paris Fashion Week. Angelina Jolie plays Maxine, an American filmmaker who gets a life-changing medical diagnosis. She meets Ada, a model from South Sudan, and Angèle, a makeup artist. The film explores how these women support each other despite their different backgrounds and jobs."Couture" is not just about fashion. It shows the strength and quiet bonds between women. The film had its first showing at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and then in San Sebastian. Alice Winocour explained that the film is about the solidarity between women, not just fashion. Many people worked together to make this film happen. It was produced by Charles Gillibert, Zhang Xin, William Horberg, and Angelina Jolie. The film also got support from France 3 Cinéma and other companies. The deal to bring "Couture" to the UK was made by Elizabeth Williams from Signature Entertainment and Nicole Mackey from HanWay Films. They are excited to share this powerful story with UK audiences.
