Baby Sleepwear Recall: A Choking Danger

The U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 45, 000 infant sleepwear garments on March 5. The issue lies with the zipper heads that can detach from the clothing, posing a choking risk if swallowed by a child. So far, 15 separate incidents of zipper pieces falling off have been reported, but no injuries have occurred. Affected sleepwear bears batch numbers PO30592, PO30641 and PO30685, and can be identified by a “Made in India” label inside the fabric or on the hang tag. Parents are urged to stop using these garments immediately and register at www. sleepsuitrecall. com.After registration, a coupon code will be provided for either a replacement sleepwear item or a $50 credit toward another purchase on the company’s website. The recalled items were sold from September 2025 to February 2026 at a price of roughly $50 on several online and retail platforms. Consumers should keep the sleepwear until they receive their coupon code; it is not safe to discard the item outright.
