USA, New York CityWed May 20 2026
Bebe Rexha and Faithless have reached number one on the newest global dance chart, thanks to their song “New Religion. ” The track climbed to the top of the WARM Global Dance Radio list dated May 23. It was released in early March and already earned more than 900 plays on over 200 stations worldwide during the week of May 8‑14. In the United States, “New Religion” also did well. It hit number one on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart for a week and reached the 30s on both Pop and Rhythmic airplay charts. The song borrows a melody from Faithless’s 1995 hit “Insomnia. ” That original track was a major dance success in 1997, topping the Dance Club Songs chart and peaking at number 62 on the Hot 100. A later remix, “Insomnia 2. 0, ” also topped dance charts in 2015. For both Rexha and Faithless, this is their first number‑one on the WARM Global Dance Radio chart since Billboard added it in March.
Other songs moved around the top five. ANOTR’s “Talk to You” dropped from first to second after six weeks at the top. FISHER and Tones & I’s “Favour” stayed in third place. Prospa and Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind” climbed back to fourth, while Milky and Mall Grab’s “Just the Way You Are” jumped from seventh to fifth. New entries included Calvin Harris and Jazzy’s “Satisfy” at number fourteen, a debut that follows Harris’s earlier chart‑topper with Kasabian. Dom Dolla and Tiga’s “Don’t Worry Baby” also entered the top twenty at sixteen. Billboard announced in March that it would add a global dance radio chart. The list, launched on March 10, gathers plays from more than 200 dance‑focused stations in over thirty countries. It shows which tracks are trending worldwide, based on radio programmers and station managers in different regions.
