Belief: Why Is It So Hard to Grasp?

Faith isn't easy for everyone. Some people find it naturally, while others struggle, even when they see strong signs. This isn't just a problem during Christmas; it's something people deal with all the time. The story of Jesus' birth is a big part of many people's beliefs. It's a story that has changed the world. But even with all its power, many people still wonder if it's real.
Think about the angels telling shepherds about Jesus' birth. It's a nice picture, but how many people saw it? Not many, according to the Bible. This makes people wonder: Why didn't God make this miracle clearer for everyone? Why is there so much doubt?
This isn't just about Christmas. It's about faith in general. For example, some people who are very sick and confused suddenly become clear and alert before they die. This is called terminal lucidity. It's interesting because it suggests that the mind might exist beyond the body. But not everyone sees this happen. Why is it so rare?
God could have made faith simpler. What if everyone had a personal moment with the divine? Would that make belief easier? Maybe, but some people might still not believe, even after seeing miracles.
So, why is faith so hard to understand? Maybe it's part of a bigger plan. Maybe God lets doubt exist, just like He lets suffering exist. This doesn't mean faith is weak. It means that believing is a choice, and that choice matters.
