Ben Stiller is Back in 'Happy Gilmore 2'!

" Netflix is on board to produce "Happy Gilmore 2, " which is currently being filmed in New Jersey. Fans will see familiar faces like Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin and Julie Bowen as Virginia Venit, alongside newcomers such as comedian Nick Swardson, musician Bad Bunny, and NFL star Travis Kelce.The sequel is directed by Kyle Newacheck, with a script penned by Sandler and his frequent collaborator Tim Herlihy. The original film, "Happy Gilmore, " was a major success, making Sandler a comedy superstar. It's about a hockey player with a temper who discovers a talent for golf. The sequel will see Stiller reprise his role as Hal, the nursing home orderly who misled Happy about his grandmother's care. Adam Sandler has given some hints about the plot, saying it picks up with an older Happy Gilmore. "Some stuff goes on in his life, and he’s different. He’s a bit of a mess, " Sandler revealed. The story aims to help Happy get his life back on track.
