WalletHub, a financial-data site, compared every state using official government and industry data focused on three areas: how easy it is to run a company, how quickly you can get help or money, and how much it costs to keep doors open.Nevada scored solidly across the board. It sits at number seven in overall business climate, number fourteen when it comes to access to resources like loans or experts, and number twenty-eight on costs such as rent and employee paychecks. The two brightest spots—business climate and access to resources—rely partly on a mix of short workweeks, engaged teams, rising company revenue numbers, and a steady flow of skilled workers looking for jobs. The one weak spot is costs. Nevada isn’t the cheapest place to rent an office or pay staff, so new owners need to plan carefully. That said, startups here still enjoy fewer red tape hurdles than in many other states, which can save planning time and headaches.
