Billy Bob Thornton, playing the tough-talking Lt. Tommy Norris in the TV show Landman, took a jab at The View. He did this while talking to his dad, played by Sam Elliot. Norris suggested his dad watch The View to pass the time. But he didn't hold back his thoughts about the show.
Norris called The View hosts "pissed off millionaires" who complain about everything. He said they hate millionaires, Trump, men, and pretty much everyone else. But he did admit the show is funny sometimes.
The View has been on the air since 1997. It's known for its hosts talking about politics and interviewing celebrities. Recently, they talked about Trump getting a "fake" FIFA Peace Prize.
Landman is a show about the risky world of oil rigging in West Texas. It's in its second season and airs on Paramount+. The show is from Taylor Sheridan, who also made Yellowstone. Even though it's not connected to Yellowstone, it does have some actors from other Sheridan shows.
