The findings will go to police leaders and the top security officer within three months. The report also asks for stronger guards during Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and at other big Jewish events. It wants the government to speed up a plan that would buy back guns from people who own them. Officials say the report shows ways to improve safety at both federal and state levels. Public hearings will begin next week, and the final report is due by year’s end.
