Brad Pitt stars in a movie about Formula 1 racing. It's called "F1". The story follows Sonny Hayes, a former race car driver who's down on his luck. He's now living out of his van and racing in small events just for the thrill of it. When his old friend Ruben Cervantes offers him a spot on his struggling Formula 1 team, Hayes jumps at the chance.
The movie is full of exciting races and stunning visuals. Director Joseph Kosinski does a great job of capturing the speed and intensity of Formula 1. The soundtrack is also impressive, with Hans Zimmer's score adding to the excitement. However, the film has some issues. The story can be confusing, especially for people who don't know much about Formula 1. There are a lot of rules and technical details that might not make sense to casual viewers.
One of the main problems is the lack of compelling characters. The other drivers in the races are barely developed. They don't have any lines or personalities. This makes it hard to care about who wins or loses. The only exception is Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris. He's a young driver who's more interested in social media fame than winning races. Idris does a great job of bringing this character to life.
The movie also tries to establish a villain, but it doesn't work very well. We don't learn enough about him to care. This is a missed opportunity because a good villain could have added more tension to the story.
Despite these issues, "F1" has a lot to offer. The races are thrilling, and the visuals are stunning. The soundtrack is also a highlight. If you're a fan of Formula 1, you'll probably enjoy this movie. However, if you're not familiar with the sport, you might find it confusing. The movie is more of a love letter to Formula 1 than a great sports film.
