Busan Esports Arena, South KoreaFri May 08 2026
The Korea e‑Sports Association will hold a national qualifying tournament in Busan on November 9–10. The event decides which players will represent South Korea at the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi‑Nagoya. Busan’s role as the host city for the national esports team makes this competition official and highly anticipated.
Four games are on the line. Puyo Puyo Champions is a solo showdown, while Honor of Kings and Pokémon UNITE are team battles. Identity V will run through group play before a final match decides the winner. The schedule splits the games: Saturday features Honor of Kings and Pokémon UNITE; Sunday hosts Identity V and Puyo Puyo Champions.
All matches will stream live on KeSPA’s and the Busan Esports Arena’s YouTube channels. Commentators Oh Sung‑kyun, Park Han‑eol, Shiro and Kim Hyo‑jong will guide viewers through the action. Fans on the ground or online can join lucky draws and other interactive activities.
The Korean team’s recent success in Hangzhou—winning medals in every event—sets high expectations. KeSPA President Kim Young‑man said the association will partner closely with Busan to support players and keep Korea’s reputation strong on the world stage.
More information, schedules and updates will appear on KeSPA’s website and social media. Stay tuned for the battle that could shape Korea’s esports future.
