By doing both, it can spot patterns that might mean someone is up to no good.To test it, they used a big pile of data called the Elliptic dataset. The tool did really well, catching bad stuff with a score of 0. 9802. That's like getting 98 out of 100 right! It also did great at balancing between catching all the bad stuff and not accusing good stuff. It scored 0. 9799 on something called an F1-score. This new way of looking at things might help make crypto safer. It shows that by mixing time and frequency, we can find better ways to stop money laundering. But remember, no tool is perfect.
