Chicago's Christmas Weather: Clouds, Rain, and a Chilly Turn

Chicago is in for a cloudy and rainy Christmas this year. Forget about a white Christmas. The weather will be grey and gloomy instead. The city will see lots of clouds over the next few days. Christmas Eve will be in the mid-40s, with light rain and drizzle expected in the afternoon. The gloomy weather will stick around through Christmas morning. There might even be some fog. Christmas Day will be similar, with more clouds and a few sprinkles. Temperatures will be around 40 degrees, which is a bit above average. The rain will keep falling Thursday night into Friday morning.Friday will be warmer, with a high of 49 degrees. Saturday will stay in the mid-40s. But by Sunday, things will change. The morning will start mild, but temperatures will drop throughout the day. By evening, it will be cold and windy, with a chance of snow showers. Next week, things will get much colder.
