The weather is taking a turn, and it's not looking too warm. Right now, winds are still kicking up, but they should calm down as the day goes on. The storm that brought these winds is moving away, so things should get quieter after sunset.
Tonight, it's going to get cold. Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s in many places. Even Logan Airport might see freezing temps.
Tomorrow, we'll start with some early sun, but clouds will roll in later. It'll be a chilly morning, but temps will climb to the mid-50s by afternoon. Saturday looks a bit milder with an early shower and highs in the low 60s. This might be the warmest day for a while.
Sunday is when things get wet. A big storm system is coming in from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Rain will start around noon and stick around. There won't be much wind at first, but after the storm passes on Monday, winds will pick up and skies will clear.
The cold air is coming back, too. Next week, highs might struggle to reach the upper 40s. In the Worcester Hills, there could even be some flurries from lake effect snow showers drifting in from New York. Wind chills will feel like the low 30s.
No major storms are expected next week, which might be a good thing since we'd have to deal with rain and snow lines. Temperatures should start to moderate by next weekend.
