Chilly Science Fun: Winter Wonderland at The Tech

The Tech Interactive is all set to bring some frosty fun to San Jose this winter with Polar Play Days. This event is not just about enjoying the holiday spirit but also about diving into science and creativity. It's running from November 23 to January 4, giving everyone plenty of time to explore and enjoy. This year, the event has a fresh set of activities designed to spark curiosity and encourage hands-on learning. Visitors can look forward to new things to explore every time they visit. From creating snowstorms in jars to crafting whimsical mushroom snowballs, there's something for everyone. The Winter WonderLabs, happening on December 20-21 and December 28, are a must-visit for those who love getting their hands dirty with science. The Merry Makerspace is another highlight, transforming the Tech Studio into a holiday workshop filled with festive activities. And if you're up for some fun on ice, the Polar Play Sock Skating Rink is open from December 20 to January 4. You can slide across the rink, build ice castles, and relax in the Chill Zone. Admission to Polar Play Days also includes a ticket to one of the daily IMAX documentaries, like Antarctica or Arctic: Our Frozen Planet. If you're in the mood for a movie, there are feature films like The Shining and Avatar: Fire and Ash playing as well.
