China’s Private Tech Companies Offer Live Tracking of U. S. Forces in Iran Conflict

IranSun Apr 05 2026
Private firms in China are using satellite images and AI to provide what they say is real‑time information on U. S. troops involved in the war against Iran. One startup, Jingan Technology, announced that its “Jinqi” system could intercept radio chatter and track the paths of four B‑2A Spirit bombers. The company described this as a “live war feed powered by AI. ” Another Shanghai‑based business, MizarVision, has shared satellite photos that show U. S. aircraft and naval units during the operation known as Epic Fury, including F‑22 fighters and carrier groups that were later targeted by Iranian forces. MizarVision’s posts also highlight U. S. transport planes moving supplies to an air base and the presence of several F‑22 jets on the runway. The operation began at the end of February.
Experts say that China’s growing number of private companies are sharpening their skills in satellite analysis and ground tracking. As these firms improve, they can enhance China’s military capabilities even if they are not directly linked to the government. A senior fellow at a U. S. think tank explained that more private geospatial firms could help China contest American forces during a crisis. A congressional committee has expressed worry that companies connected to the Chinese Communist Party are turning AI into a surveillance weapon against the United States, warning that this threat is not just theoretical but real.
