The Associated Press Top 25 college football poll is back, and Oregon is still the unanimous No. 1 team despite a close call at Wisconsin. Notre Dame, Alabama, and Georgia each climbed two spots, with Georgia re-entering the top 10 after their win over Tennessee. LSU, after three straight losses, is unranked for the first time in two years.
Oregon has been at the top for five weeks now, receiving all 62 first-place votes. They'll try for a perfect regular season when they host Washington. The top five remains the same with Ohio State, Texas, Penn State, and Indiana following Oregon. However, this could change with Indiana visiting Ohio State soon.
Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee make up the rest of the top 10. Georgia's win over Tennessee boosted them to No. 8. Mississippi stayed at No. 9, while Tennessee dropped to No. 10.
The Big Ten and SEC dominate the top spots, with four and five teams in the top 10, respectively. BYU's loss to Kansas dropped them to No. 14, tying them with Colorado at No. 16. Four Group of Five teams are in the Top 25, including No. 12 Boise State and No. 23 UNLV from the Mountain West.
LSU's three-game losing streak has them out of the Top 25 for the first time in a while. Meanwhile, Tulane moved up five spots to No. 20 after a shutout win over Navy.
This week's games to watch include No. 5 Indiana at No. 2 Ohio State and No. 14 BYU at No. 21 Arizona State. The Army vs. Notre Dame matchup at Yankee Stadium is also highly anticipated.
