Election Day in Colorado is on November 4, 2025. It's a big deal for voting, but not all services are affected. Most people have already voted by mail or dropped off their ballots. But what if you need to run errands or visit certain places on that day?
First, banks will be open. It's not a federal holiday, so financial stuff should be business as usual. Stores will also be open. No big retailers have said they'll close for Election Day. The post office will be open too, but remember, it's too late to mail your ballot. You need to drop it off at a local spot to make sure it counts.
UPS and FedEx will be operating normally. They'll make deliveries and their stores will be open. State government offices will also be open. Colorado doesn't treat Election Day as a special holiday where offices close. But employers must give you two hours of paid time off to vote if you need it.
Federal offices? That's a bit tricky. If there's a government shutdown, they might not be open. But normally, they would be. So, it depends on the situation at the time.
