Dallas-Fort Worth: From Chilly Mornings to Warm Afternoons

It's been a while since North Texas felt such a chill in the morning. We're talking early Thursday, where temperatures dipped into the 40s, and even lower in some eastern areas. But don't worry, this morning chill won't stick around. By afternoon, it'll warm up to the 60s, and by late afternoon, we might even hit the lower 70s. The sun will be out, and there won't be much wind. So, it's looking like another beautiful fall day!
Unfortunately, the weather pattern isn't helping us out with rain. So far, October has been pretty dry for DFW, with no rain recorded in the first 16 days. And it doesn't look like we'll get any relief in the next week. This dry spell is making the drought worse, which means the risk of grass-fires is high. Even a small spark could start a fire quickly.
Looking ahead, the weather is expected to get warmer, especially by the weekend and next week. We might see temperatures in the upper 80s again.
