In a shocking incident, a 51-year-old man, identified as Lamont Campbell, has been arrested and booked on suspicion of murder in connection with a deadly hijacking of a Los Angeles Metro bus. According to reports, Campbell hijacked the bus around 1 a. m. on Wednesday, taking the driver and two passengers hostage. The incident unfolded like a scene from a thriller movie, with police chasing the bus for over an hour before Campbell finally surrendered. As the investigation continues, authorities have revealed that the hijacking started at Figueroa Street and Manchester Avenue in South Los Angeles. Campbell allegedly used a gun to take control of the bus, prompting the driver to continue driving while being held at gunpoint. The passengers, including a 51-year-old man who was found with multiple gunshot wounds, were also taken hostage.Despite the tense situation, the bus driver remained calm and continued to operate the vehicle until it eventually came to a stop at 6th and Alameda streets in downtown LA.
