"We've been delayed and canceled again and again, " he said. "It feels like American Airlines is falling apart. For the last three days, planes have sat on the tarmac for hours, only to have takeoffs canceled—sometimes multiple times in a row. On Monday alone, over 1, 000 American Airlines flights were canceled, according to FlightAware. Patrick and Karen McCain were supposed to fly home to Seattle on Sunday.
