From John Wayne Gacy's chicken wings and strawberries to Ted Bundy's parmesan steak, the menu is a chilling reminder of the past. The restaurant's owner, Nate Thompson, is a Michigan native who also runs the Michigan Museum of Horror. He saw the potential in combining his love for horror and food. The new location will be nestled inside the Mall of Monroe, conveniently close to the Michigan Museum of Horror. While the menu will be similar to the Ohio location, there will be some exclusive items to entice local foodies.The Final Meal isn't just about the food; it's about the entire experience. The restaurant boasts signature cocktails inspired by true crime stories, like the Helter Seltzer, named after Charles Manson, and the Black Dahlia, inspired by the infamous murder victim Elizabeth Short. There's even a drink called the Pogo Punch, a nod to John Wayne Gacy's past as a children's party clown named Pogo. The restaurant's social media pages feature images of what appears to be a human skull, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Thompson has always been passionate about cooking and serving food, and he saw an opportunity to create a themed attraction that would appeal to visitors in a unique way. The Michigan location is set to open its doors in April, offering a dining experience that's sure to be a hit with true crime enthusiasts. As Thompson jokingly puts it, it's the only place where you can say the food is literally to die for.
