EA's latest soccer game, FC 25, just set a record it would rather not have. Recently launched on Sept. 27, the game has been getting quite a beating from fans. With a super low rating of just 1. 5 stars out of 5 on Google, it's officially the worst-reviewed soccer game from EA so far. Fans are not happy with issues like slow controller responses, crashes, and confusing game menus. But is all the hate really deserved?
One thing’s for sure, FC 25 has its share of problems. However, it's not all bad news. Compared to its predecessor, FC 24, this game seems more polished. New features like simulation gameplay and customizable settings in Career Mode show some real improvement.
Someone who's been playing since early access started on Sept. 20, finds the game mostly enjoyable. Sure, there are minor bugs, but nothing game-breaking. It's clear that the game is still a work in progress, but it has a solid foundation that just needs a bit of patience.
EA's soccer titles have faced criticism before, and it's understandable why fans are frustrated. When you spend a lot on a game, you expect more. Although FC 25 isn't perfect, the harsh rating might be a bit too much.
Despite a rocky start, FC 25 shows promise. It's been moving in the right direction, even if there are some bumps along the way.
