Fireworks, Drones and Fourth‑Day Fun in Charleston
Charleston, South Carolina, USASun Jun 14 2026
Charleston’s Fourth of July buzzes with new lights.
Instead of the usual fireworks, SC250 plans a night‑time drone ballet on June 27. The show will cover the harbor, sending hundreds of LED aircraft into a historic tale of the Revolution.
The next day, after the RiverDogs face the Augusta GreenJackets, their stadium will glow. A 400‑drone performance will light up the sky at 5:30 p. m. , turning the ballpark into a floating stage.
Families can also head to The Cooper for a classic waterfront celebration. Their party starts at 6 p. m. , offering music, games and snacks before the fireworks ignite near 9:40 p. m. The view from the pier is a favorite for many.
The Cooper’s manager says the event aims to spark pride in Charleston and create lasting memories for everyone. He notes that this year’s celebration is about more than history—it honors the city’s living culture.
For those who prefer a beach vibe, Folly Beach Pier hosts its own fireworks display over the ocean. The sparkles above the waves make for a relaxing yet festive atmosphere.
With so many options—drones, ballparks and beach fireworks—Charleston keeps its Fourth of July fresh and memorable.
