Future Star Noah Flagg Heads to Paris for Team USA

Noah Flagg, a 17‑year‑old from St. Cloud, has earned a spot on Team USA for the Paris World Tour at the end of June. The 6‑foot‑3, 210‑pound guard‑forward will showcase his skills on a global stage after leading North Kissimmee Christian School to a state title. His average of 18 points and 10 rebounds per game made him the top scorer in his conference. His high‑school coach, Adam Nicholson, praised Flagg’s intelligence on the court and his dedication to improving. “He can score from anywhere, and I’m proud to watch him grow, ” Nicholson said. Flagg agrees that playing for the U. S. is a dream come true, especially after watching Olympic teams as a child.The selection came from PHD Hoops USA, which looks for young players with talent and strong character. President Richie Schueler highlighted Flagg’s shooting, rebounding, and physical presence as key reasons for his inclusion. In Paris, he will play under coach Mike Apple of Sandhills Community College, a program that has won two Division III national titles. Beyond scoring, Flagg sees himself as the team’s stabilizer. “I keep the peace and act as an anchor, ” he explained.
