Garden Art Walk Turns South Bend’s West Side into a Living Canvas

South Bend will host a colorful stroll called the Arts in Bloom Garden Walk on June 24, from 9:30 a. m. to 7:30 p. m. The event will let visitors wander through private gardens that showcase roses, peonies, lavender, pansies and more. The walk will cover several gardens on the city’s near west side. Each garden is a personal project by its owner, so visitors can see how everyday people design outdoor spaces. Artists will paint while the day unfolds. They’ll set up easels in the gardens, turning the walk into an open‑air studio. Alongside the art, a free raffle will be offered to all guests.Tickets cost $25 if bought in advance and $30 at the door. Children 11 or younger can join for free.
