Goodwill Expands Reach with New Coeur d’Alene Hub
750 W Canfield Ave, Coeur d'Alene, USASat Jun 20 2026
Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest has just finished a big move. The charity bought a 36, 000‑square‑foot building at 750 W. Canfield Ave. , which used to belong to Sunshine Minting Inc. This purchase marks Goodwill’s second site in the city and will let the organization grow its services across north Idaho.
Inside the new space, Goodwill plans to set up a Workforce & Family Services office, a retail store, a donation center, and an e‑commerce department. The work area will cover about 6, 000 square feet while the retail and production zones take up roughly 13, 650 square feet. The donation room will be a modest 400 square feet, and the e‑commerce hub will occupy another 6, 000 square feet.
This addition makes Goodwill’s e‑commerce presence stronger in the region, bringing a third online location to serve customers and donors alike. The deal was finalized after Goodwill made an offer on March 26, showing the organization’s quick action and commitment to community support.
Goodwill’s president and CEO expressed excitement about the expansion, noting that local donors and shoppers play a vital role in lifting people out of hardship. The new center is expected to provide more jobs, training opportunities, and accessible goods for residents of Coeur d’Alene and beyond.
With this new facility, Goodwill is set to enhance its mission of empowering individuals through employment and education while continuing to offer affordable clothing and household items to the public.
