In a recent lawsuit, a hairstylist who worked at Fox Sports for over a decade claims that former host Skip Bayless made unwanted advances toward her, including a shocking $1. 5 million offer for sex. Noushin Faraji, the hairstylist, says Bayless's behavior created a hostile work environment. She alleges that Fox Sports executives turned a blind eye to such behavior from senior managers and on-air personalities. The lawsuit also claims that Fox did not pay some employees their full wages or overtime.
Faraji's lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from Bayless, Fox Sports, and its parent company, Fox Corporation. She asserts that Bayless's advances began in 2017 and continued until last year, including lingering hugs, kisses on the cheek, and offers to change her life if she had sex with him. In 2021, she alleges, Bayless offered her $1. 5 million for sex, and after she refused, he threatened her job.
Fox Sports has stated that it takes the allegations seriously but has no further comment due to the pending lawsuit. The lawsuit also seeks class-action status on behalf of other workers who were allegedly impacted.
Faraji was fired in 2024, and she claims it was based on "fabricated" reasons. She initially kept quiet about her treatment at Fox, fearing for her safety if she went public. This case highlights the ongoing issues within the entertainment industry regarding harassment and fair labor practices.
