Hersheypark's Big Splash: What's New for 2026?

Get ready for a wet and wild time at Hersheypark in 2026! The park is making a big splash with some awesome upgrades to its water attractions. Two new play areas are coming to Bayside Pier, packed with 45 different water features. One of them, called The Inlet, will have a shaded zone with dolphins and fish that spray water. The other, The Island, will have giant palm trees that dump buckets of water on you. Both areas will have rubber floors and shaded spots to sit and relax.But the fun doesn't stop there. The Boardwalk's design will be more open, so you can easily move between all the water attractions. And if you're a fan of the Hersheypark Stadium, there's good news for you too. A second Premium Viewing Deck is being added, with special food and drinks, a private restroom, and even dedicated parking. Plus, the backstage areas are getting a makeover to support tour productions. And there's more! A new hotel is coming to town. The Hershey Inn & Suites will have 130 rooms, including some fancy suites. It will also have a bar, a marketplace, an arcade, a fitness center, and an indoor pool that you can use all year round. Hersheypark is opening its gates on April 3rd for its 120th season. The water attractions will be ready to go from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
