Hilton's Bold Move: New Hotels in Türkiye

Hilton is making big waves in Türkiye with its latest hotel brand, Canopy by Hilton. Two new hotels are set to open this month in Istanbul and Izmir. This is not Hilton's first foray into Türkiye, as they have already introduced the Tapestry Collection by Hilton and expanded the Curio Collection by Hilton. The Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim is located near Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue. It offers 110 rooms that blend modern design with the rich culture of the Beyoglu district. Guests can enjoy an all-day restaurant and a wine bar in a 150-year-old cistern. Meanwhile, the Canopy by Hilton Izmir Bomonti is part of the Mahall Bomonti complex. This 191-room hotel offers modern amenities and design inspired by the Aegean region. It also features locally influenced dining and vibrant social spaces.Hilton's lifestyle category is growing fast. It now makes up a fifth of Hilton's global pipeline, with over 400 lifestyle hotels already open. In Türkiye, Hilton plans to open four lifestyle properties by 2025. This includes the recent debut of The Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton and the opening of Altunizade Suites Istanbul under the Curio Collection by Hilton. Looking ahead, Hilton has nine more lifestyle hotels in development across Türkiye. Five of these are set to open next year, including some unique offerings like a cave hotel in Cappadocia.
