They gained 0. 028 kg per day. The NAM group gained 0. 024 kg per day. This difference was small but important. None of the babies had to delay surgery. This is good news. It shows that PLANA does not stop babies from growing. Doctors think PLANA is a good option. It helps babies grow well. It also does not cause problems with feeding. More studies are needed. But so far, PLANA looks promising.
