Jennifer Garner Shares Personal Loss from LA Wildfires

Actress Jennifer Garner has revealed that she lost a close friend in the recent wildfires that have been wreaking havoc in Los Angeles. The fires, which have been burning since Tuesday, have spread from Pacific Palisades to areas like Malibu and Santa Monica. Garner, who has been volunteering with the World Central Kitchen to feed evacuees, opened up about the devastation she witnessed and the personal loss she experienced. "I lost a friend who didn't make it out in time, " said Garner, her voice quivering with emotion. She added that her church community is deeply affected and it's too soon to talk about the loss. A. area, including the Kenneth, Eaton, Hurst, and Palisades fires. The death toll has risen to 11 people, with thousands of homes destroyed. The Kenneth Fire is 35% contained, the Palisades Fire is 8% contained, the Eaton Fire is 3% contained, and the Hurst Fire is 70% contained.
