John Krasinski Returns to 'Jack Ryan' in Upcoming Movie

It's been over a year since John Krasinski left the screen as Jack Ryan, but now he's back with a movie in the works. Amazon MGM Studios is behind this project, which is set to continue the story of the Prime Video series that ended last year. The movie will bring back not just Krasinski, but also Wendell Pierce and possibly Michael Kelly, who played CIA station chief Mike November. Andrew Bernstein, who was an executive producer on season 2 of the show, will direct the movie. While season 2 wasn't the most loved, Bernstein isn't writing the script. That task has been given to Aaron Rabin, who worked on the fourth season. This could be a good sign, as they both know the character well. The movie will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios, along with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. After its release on Prime Video, there's a chance it might also show up on Paramount Plus. Another project in the Jack Ryan universe is a spin-off series starring Michael Peña, but its status isn't clear yet.
