Leigh Tiffin, a familiar name in Alabama football, has stepped down from his role as president of Tiffin Motorhomes. This move comes as he explores a new career path with National Indoor RV Centers. Tiffin, known for his kicking skills on the field from 2006 to 2009, is also part of a family legacy. His dad, Van Tiffin, and grandpa, Bob Tiffin, have strong ties to the company. Bob Tiffin is still actively involved, while Van Tiffin continues to advise on manufacturing.The company made it clear that Leigh's departure was not forced. They wish him well in his new journey. Leigh himself admitted that leaving was tough, but he's proud of what the company has achieved, especially since THOR Industries took over in 2020. Despite Leigh's exit, the company assures that the Tiffin family's influence remains strong. Bob and Van Tiffin continue to shape the brand's reputation for quality and innovation. Recently, the company announced layoffs at its Winfield facility, affecting 139 employees. This is part of a consolidation plan set to begin in May.
