Basketball courts across the region buzzed with energy as teams battled it out on Monday, December 22. The girls' games saw some impressive performances. Kailynn Thompson from Bay Port scored a whopping 30 points, leading her team to a solid win. Meanwhile, Kaia Waldrop from Notre Dame also had a standout game with 22 points, helping her team secure a victory. Over in the boys' games, Algoma pulled off a thrilling one-point win against Luxemburg-Casco in overtime. Joseph Daly from New London was a standout player, scoring 32 points in his team's victory over Denmark.
