Margo's Money Maze: A New Apple TV Series Unveiled

Apple TV has announced the launch date for a new series called "Margo's Got Money Troubles. " This show is based on a book by Rufi Thorpe and will start streaming on April 15, 2026. The first three episodes will be available on that date. The story follows Margo, a young woman who just had a baby and is struggling with money. She is the daughter of an ex-Hooter’s waitress and a former wrestler. Margo has to find quick ways to make money to support herself and her newborn. In the book, her father comes to help her just in time. The series stars Elle Fanning as Margo, along with Thaddea Graham and Nicole Kidman, who is also an executive producer. Other cast members include Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington. The show is produced by A24 for Apple TV. David E. Kelley is the showrunner and writer, with executive producers including Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, and Brittany Kahan Ward. Nicole Kidman and Per Saari are also executive producers, along with Matthew Tinker. Michelle Pfeiffer, the author Rufi Thorpe, Eva Anderson, and Boo Killebrew are also involved as executive producers. The pilot episode is directed by Dearbhla Walsh, who is also an executive producer. Additional directors include Kate Herron and Alice Seabright. This series is the latest collaboration between David E. Kelley and Apple TV, following the success of "Presumed Innocent, " which is now in its second season.
