Mark Korshak Takes Lead at Giovanni Entertainment

Korshak has stepped into a fresh position as Chief Media Officer at Giovanni Entertainment, a new company that blends film production with financial backing. Before this move, he spent four years steering Artists Road, a partnership among Spyglass Media Group, Propagate Content, Artists First and Off‑Road Productions. There he guided the company’s development plans, production schedules and sales tactics until October 2024. At Giovanni, Korshak will manage a growing lineup of movies, from early drafts to final releases. He is already in charge of projects like Ramin Bahrani’s romantic thriller “Vegas: A Love Story, ” the survival drama “In Tandem, ” and the feature “That One Beautiful Day” with Mira Sorvino. In addition, he is pushing for new formats such as short vertical dramas that can be streamed on mobile devices. Based in Los Angeles, he reports to CEO Giovanni James Guidotti and works out of the company’s headquarters on The Lot at Formosa. Guidotti praised Korshak’s industry ties and experience, saying he is the right person to guide Giovanni’s expanding film slate.Korshak expressed excitement about joining at a time when the industry is shifting toward sustainable, creator‑friendly projects. He highlighted plans to blend commercial appeal with innovative tools like AI and vertical series that cater to modern audiences. During his tenure at Artists Road, Korshak helped launch the comedy “Incoming, ” which topped Netflix worldwide. Earlier in his career he co‑founded Off the Dock, a studio that produced viral digital content and mainstream films such as “Internet Famous. ”He has also worked on shows like “The Voice, ” the series “Heathers, ” and franchises such as “Underworld. ”His background includes developing an AI alarm clock app called Snews. Korshak’s new role marks a significant step for Giovanni as it builds its identity in the competitive film market, aiming to combine creative vision with financial viability.
