Minnesota's Softies on Oprah's List Again!

Every holiday season, Oprah shares her highly anticipated list of 'Favorite Things. ' Most items are luxurious and not cheap. This year, a Minnesota company made the list for the 8th time! Softies, a family-owned business from Edina, started small in 2005. Their cozy lounge sets caught Oprah's eye in 2017. This year, Oprah loves their Solid Marshmallow V-Neck Lounge Set, priced at $139.The story behind Softies is heartwarming. Dennis Murphy, the founder, created moisture-wicking pajamas to help his wife, Peggy, during her leukemia treatment. They launched from their basement and now, they're on Oprah's list! In 2017, Tim Murphy, the current CEO, stumbled upon Oprah's team at a tradeshow. Despite being in a bad location, they noticed his product. That chance encounter led to Softies' first appearance on Oprah's list.
