Nazareth Rocks On: New Voice, New Vibes

Nazareth, a band that's been around since the '60s, just said goodbye to their singer, Carl Sentance. He's been with them for about ten years, but now it's time for a change. The band's bassist, Pete Agnew, broke the news. He also introduced their new singer, Gianni Pontillo. Agnew is pretty excited about Pontillo. He says Pontillo has an amazing voice, and fans who haven't seen him yet are in for a treat. Pontillo isn't new to the rock scene. He's been singing for a German band called Victory since 2019. Before that, he was in a bunch of other bands and even did some theater stuff. So, he's got experience, and that's a good thing for Nazareth.Nazareth is a big deal. They're from Scotland and have been making music since 1968. They're known for hits like “Love Hurts” and “Hair of the Dog. ” The band has gone through some changes over the years. The original members are all gone now, but Nazareth keeps on rocking. They even put out new music in 2022. Next year, Nazareth has a lot of shows planned. They're calling it their busiest year ever. They'll be playing in the U. S. and other places. Fans will get to see the new lineup with Pontillo. The band is pumped and can't wait to show off Pontillo's talent. Sentance, the old singer, hasn't said much about leaving. But he's busy too. He's got solo shows lined up for 2026. He also started a new band called Lords of NWOBHM. It's a group of musicians from famous British heavy metal bands. They're playing classic songs from that era. Sentance says there's a lot of love for that music, and it's a great time to celebrate it.
