New Faces at PMK: Sparkes and Rivera Join the Team

PMK Entertainment has added two new leaders to its ranks. Leah Sparkes, who has spent over twenty years in the entertainment world, will serve as Vice President of Television, Film and Premium Content. She brings experience from NBCUniversal, Harpo Studios, OWN, and WE tv, as well as her own PR firm. Sparkes will work out of Los Angeles and report to SVP Cristina Parvu in New York. The company also welcomed Ulisses Rivera, a former WME communications executive, as Senior Account Director in its Strategic Communications Group. Rivera has more than a decade of experience across agencies and unions, including roles at WME, A3 Artists Agency, Sunshine Sachs, and SAG‑AFTRA. He will help PMK advise clients on the changing entertainment landscape.PMK’s leaders say the new hires fit well with the company’s direction. The CEO praised Sparkes as a strategic thinker who can shape cultural narratives and build lasting brands. The president highlighted her ability to navigate the blur between publicity, brand strategy, and premium content. Rivera’s agency background is seen as a strength for advising clients at the highest level. The company joined the Acceleration Community of Companies last November, and these additions are part of its growth strategy. The new hires are expected to strengthen PMK’s presence in television, film and premium content while keeping the firm ahead of industry shifts.
