Big changes are coming to Paramount! The company is getting a new boss and a whole new team. David Ellison is stepping up as the CEO. He's bringing in a mix of old and new faces to run the show. The company will be split into three main parts: Studios, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), and TV Media.
Jeff Shell will be the President. He'll handle the day-to-day stuff. Andy Gordon is the new Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He'll focus on making the company run smoother and grow bigger.
George Cheeks is in charge of TV Media. He'll oversee all the TV networks like CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon. Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein will co-lead the film studio. Goldberg will also handle TV production. Cindy Holland will lead the Direct-to-Consumer side, which includes Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
The company is also bringing in new people for legal, human resources, and communications. Stephanie Kyoko McKinnon will be the General Counsel. Jim Sterner will lead human resources. Melissa Zukerman will handle communications.
This new team has a lot of experience. They've worked on big movies and TV shows. They know how to make things happen. But can they make Paramount even better? Only time will tell.
