New Name, New Vision: Rated Media Expands Its Reach

USA, New YorkMon May 04 2026
Rated Media, formerly known as EntertainmentVC, has announced a fresh identity and an ambitious plan to serve creators across music, film, and media. The company says it will offer a full range of services from early idea to final sale, aiming to help artists and producers grow worldwide. Since its start in 2017 as a platform for investors to buy music and film rights, the firm has broadened its focus. It now plans to manage more rights, streamline production, and provide custom financing for both talent and investors. The change is led by Julian Warshaw, a seasoned music publisher and film producer. He stresses that the new model will give clients easy access to administrative help, creative advice, and market opportunities. Warshaw points out that the company’s “blue‑collar” style means it works closely with people who build projects from scratch.
One example of the new strategy is a partnership with writer‑producer Dahlia Heyman at Mulholland Films. The duo has already produced a documentary that won awards at the Palm Springs Film Festival and earned an audiobook nomination. Mulholland plans to debut more titles at Cannes, with several projects in the pipeline for later this year. Rated Media is also stepping into technology, looking at artificial intelligence tools to support creators. In the past it has helped dozens of startups and big media names, including a pan‑African platform that Warshaw once led. “We are ready to help artists stand out in a fast‑changing market, ” Warshaw says, hinting at many upcoming projects. The company invites anyone interested in expanding their reach to explore its new services.
