New Season 13 Brings Fresh Heroes, Keywords and a Burning Quest

The latest chapter of the popular card game starts today, bringing fresh twists to its auto‑battle mode. Season 13 introduces two brand‑new abilities that change how players build their decks. The first, “Fodder, ” appears on demon cards; when a player’s demons refresh, they will grab any Fodder minions that have appeared to boost their power and then leave the spot empty for new units. The second, “Chromadrake, ” is tied to dragon cards and offers five distinct variations that strengthen dragons and the tavern’s spell effects. Two new leaders join the roster this time around. Genn, the Worgen King, can choose between two different hero powers thanks to his “Duality” skill. Mister Clocksworth, on the other hand, can speed up a player’s progression by pushing minions toward their next upgrade with his “Recording” ability.The game also revamps the trinket system, adding 73 new items and restoring 149 old ones. These trinkets now appear more often in combos that help players create powerful synergies during matches. With the season’s launch, ranking systems have been refreshed and new rewards are available. Players can earn themed cosmetic items that fit the season’s fire‑filled atmosphere. An additional event, “Battle in the Firelands, ” runs through May 6. In this scenario, a twisted version of Ragnaros has set the World Tree ablaze and is trying to turn it into a gigantic bonfire.
