Oops! Amazon Spills Beans on New Mac Mini

Amazon accidentally revealed the new Mac Mini's details ahead of Apple's official announcement. Although the listing was quickly removed, MacRumors managed to snap some screenshots. The new Mac Mini appears to feature a headphone jack and two USB-C ports on the front, likely with Thunderbolt 4 support. It comes in two versions: a base model and a professional variant, each powered by the new M4 chipset. The M4 chip has up to 14 CPU cores and 20 GPU cores, with options for up to 64GB of memory and 8TB of storage.This new model represents a significant upgrade from the current M2 chip found in Mac Minis last updated in January 2023. The performance boost should enhance Apple's machine learning capabilities, increasing from 15. 8 trillion operations per second (TOPS) to 38 TOPS, as reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Gurman also mentioned that the new Mini is more compact, nearing the size of an Apple TV. When compared to the Mac Studio, it indeed looks much smaller—a great combination of size and power.
