President Biden Squashes Weather Control Conspiracy

She said the government can control the weather, like a huge, invisible hand. But Biden didn't buy it. He said it's "ridiculous" and "stupid. " Greene, from Georgia, made her statement on a social media platform. She even quoted a far-right website that agreed with her. But Biden wasn't having it. He said her claims are part of a wave of lies and misinformation that's making it hard to help people hit by hurricanes. Biden also had a virtual meeting about Hurricane Milton. While he was talking, Greene doubled down on her weather control claim. She even said the government should pay for damages if it's true. But experts say it's not possible to control big weather systems like hurricanes with current tech.There have been small experiments with cloud seeding, like spraying silver iodide to make it rain or snow. But that's far from controlling a whole hurricane. Some scientists have talked about big projects to fight climate change, but nothing's been done yet. Biden also addressed rumors about property being taken or money being diverted to migrants. He said it's all false. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) even set up a website to clear things up. Another Republican, Rep. Chuck Edwards, also shot down the idea that the government can control the weather. He said Hurricane Helene wasn't made by the government to grab lithium. When asked if Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis should take calls from Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden said he's been talking to DeSantis and they're working together.
