Australia is dealing with a tragic event. A father and son opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach. Fifteen people died, and many more were hurt. The older man was shot by police. His son is in the hospital. The prime minister called this attack antisemitic and terrorist. He wants even stricter gun laws, even though Australia already has some of the toughest in the world.
Meanwhile, in the U. S. , a shooting happened at Brown University. Two students died, and nine were injured. Police briefly held a suspect but let him go. Students on campus are upset and scared. One student said this kind of violence happens too often.
