The focus will be on addressing pressing concerns such as AI-generated fakery and the need for guardrails when AI systems become too advanced or dangerous.The meeting is a direct follow-up to the AI Safety Summit held in the United Kingdom, where delegates pledged to work together to address the risks posed by AI. Since then, the UK, along with other countries, has established publicly backed safety institutes to advance research and testing of AI technology. By bringing together experts from around the world, the meeting aims to set standards for addressing the risks of AI-generated synthetic content and AI being used maliciously by actors. The goal is to create a collaborative environment where countries can work together to prevent the misuse of AI technology.
