A Portland company has pulled some of its sausages from the market. Olympia Provisions has recalled nearly 1, 930 pounds of their holiday kielbasa sausages. The U. S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced this on Friday. These sausages were sold in stores across California, Oregon, and Washington. They were also shipped all over the country through the company's website. The sausages were made on October 14th and might have metal pieces in them. The company found out about this after a customer complained.So far, no one has gotten hurt from eating these sausages. But if you think you might have one of these sausages, you should throw it away or take it back to the store. The sausages come in 16-ounce plastic packages with a "Best if used by" date of February 19, 2026. This isn't the first time food recalls have happened.
