But she said money alone does not win elections. She pointed to the success of progressive candidates like New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani supports policies like rent control and city-run grocery stores. Warren believes Americans are struggling financially. She said they will vote for candidates who promise to fix the system. She warned that watering down the Democratic agenda will not help the party grow.
