Stay Informed: How to Share Closures with WIS

In the Midlands, when bad weather hits, many places like schools, churches, and businesses might close or change their hours. WIS helps keep everyone in the loop by letting people report these changes easily. First, you need an online account with WIS to report a closure. If you don’t have one or forgot your password, just email closings@wistv. com for help. Once you’re logged in, you can manage the status of your organization.When reporting a closure, pick your organization from a list and choose its status, like closed or open. You can also set a date for the closure. If you’re not sure when things will reopen, you can select “until further notice. ” A preview will show you the details before you submit. You can also add extra info with a secondary status. Some places can even enter their own unique status. To update a status, just delete the old one and enter the new details.
