Superhero Food Truck Bash Hits Frankenmuth on June 11

Frankenmuth River Place Shops is gearing up for a lively food truck gathering on Thursday, June 11, from 2 to 9 p. m. The event promises more than twenty culinary trucks and family fun, all wrapped in a superhero theme that invites kids and adults alike to celebrate together. The festival takes place at 925 S. Main St. , the heart of Michigan’s “Little Bavaria, ” where visitors can park for free and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. A special beer tent will serve crafted cocktails, while shaded seating offers a cool spot to unwind. Families looking for entertainment can enjoy face painting, inflatable play zones, mini‑games, and a free cake giveaway while supplies last. Pet owners are welcome as long as their animals stay on a leash no longer than six feet.The East side of the River Place Shops, known for its German‑style shops and attractions, will host the event. Food trucks will accept cash, credit, or debit cards, and an ATM will be on hand for convenience. The lineup features a mix of local favorites such as The Cheese Trap, SugarHigh Bakery, Dairy Firm, Kona Ice from Saginaw, Bad Wolf BBQ, Slappin’ Meats BBQ, and Tender Bonez BBQ. Other highlights include Stello’s Burgers & Loaded Fries, Frank n Bones, Great Lakes Eatz & Treats, B’s Taste of Greece, the Bavarian Inn Cluck Truck, Pizza Forada Napoletana, Pappa’s Noodz, Get Loaded, Grand Traverse City Pie Co. , Fry Guy, Waffle Stix, Nom Nom Ninja, Polish Eagle Cafe, and T & T Authentic Mexican. Beyond June 11, the festival will return on July 9, August 13, and September 10 in 2026, offering more chances to taste the city’s best street food.
